The following procedures have been established for the benefit of new families entering CCA.
ADMISSIONS POLICY

CCA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color or national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies and admission. By making application to the school, the parent is certifying that at least one parent in the home has a saving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and that he/she is in agreement with CCA’s Statement of Faith.

ACADEMIC TESTING
Academic testing may be required of students entering CCA. This testing is only a part of the criteria for admission and placement.
INTERVIEW
After the school receives a completed application, the principal will arrange for an interview with the parents).
Students in grades 5 and above may also be interviewed as well as a parent(s). Someone from the Admissions Committee may also be present during the interview. The interview is an opportunity to meet and discuss the parents’ goals and desires for the education of their child. It is the school’s opportunity to get to know the parent (and student) as well as a time for the parent to have questions answered.
NOTIFICATION OF ADMISSION
After the applicant’s file is evaluated, parents will receive notification (verbal and/or written) of the decision made regarding admission. In fairness to the student involved, Community Christian Academy shall not admit or retain upon discovery, any child, for whatever reason—mental, physical, or emotional—that the school is not properly equipped and staffed to teach.
PARENTAL ACCEPTANCE OF ADMISSION
When parents accept CCA’s offer of admission, it is made official upon payment of appropriate fees and by signing the Parental Agreement and Tuition Commitment Contract. No student is placed on a class roll until all appropriate fees are paid.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Once a parent has signed the Parental Agreement and Tuition Commitment Contract and has paid the Commitment Fee, the school commits to placing the student on a class roll and to ordering instructional materials for the student. The parent commits to full tuition for the entire school year for which admission has been granted. However, if a family moves from the area, parents are responsible for the tuition through the final month of the student’s enrollment. Commitment Fees are non-refundable regardless of the reason for withdrawal or dismissal.
Tuition may be paid in one of three (3) ways: (1) In advance (paid directly to CCA); (2) In twelve (12) monthly installments beginning in June and ending in May; or (3) In ten (10) equal monthly installments beginning in August and ending in May. Unless the tuition is paid in advance, it must be paid in regular monthly installments. There are no exceptions to this policy.
There is a 5% tuition discount for paying a full year in advance if payment is received in full on or before July 15th.
