The Elementary Back-to-School Night was very successful. We had a chapel full of parents students teachers staff and board members. During the meeting portion of the evening, Mr. Biggs shared about our technology gift from Mr. Peck. Mrs. Debbie Sircy, PTP Coordinator, shared about upcoming events. I went over important points of the handbook.
Students and parents were then dismissed to visit the classrooms where they could ask questions and hear from the teachers about classroom procedures. Last, everyone met in the cafeteria for our fellowship. Make-your-own sundae was definitely the highlight of the evening.
If you were unable to attend the meeting, a Parent-Student Handbook should have come home with your student. If you have not received a Handbook, please call the office at 575-0025.

About Me
Through a friend, God led me to consider education as a career. Several years later, when my daughter entered preschool, I returned to school and began my journey to fulfill God's plan for my life. I graduated from Murray State University with a BS in elementary education in 1996 and began my teaching career at CCA in 1997 in 3rd grade. I have been married to Mark for 30 years and have lived in Paducah since 1986. Mark has been a partner with the accounting firm Williams, Williams, and Lentz since 1994. We have two children, Seth and Abigail. Seth is working towards a second degree at U of L in jazz studies. Abigail is attending Murray State University in pursuit of a degree in fishery and wildlife management. I enjoy reading, solving puzzles, and cheering with my husband for our favorite sports teams.
I have been very blessed to have been at CCA throughout my teaching career. The students, parents, staff, and administration have made CCA a wonderful place to learn and a wonderful place to teach. As principal of the elementary campus, I am very excited about what is happening at CCA!
