Lots of fun Friday at our second grade Camping Day and “Unlocking the Pumpkin Patch”. Students completed math challenges, then solved riddles each time to lead them to the next challenge. At the end was “pumpkin poo”! (cheese balls) The day was finished off with hot apple cider, s’mores trail mix, and reading with flashlights. It was a great day!
3rd grade “Unlocked Thanksgiving” by completing math challenges! Challenges included multiplication, division, area, patterns, graphs, and word problems with some funny detours in between where students had to do things like flap around the room like a Turkey and tell someone in the class why they’re thankful for them! It was the perfect way to head into break!
