Historical day for CCA Cross Country!
Our cross country team had already made school history before the race even began by fielding a Varsity girls and Varsity boys team for the Regional tournament for the first time in school history.
But the history-making wasn’t over!
The girls team ran well enough to qualify for state!
Three of our girls finished in the top 15 in Class 1A:
Aislynn Sullivan-9th
Sara Kate Key-11th
Reese Romine-15th
The girls team included Sullivan, Key, and Romine, as well as Amiyah Holmes, Millie Midkiff, and Audrey Tucker.
Our boys team included Michael Doublin, Ashton Bagwell, Ayden Bagwell, Jude Harrison, Noah Hughes, and Nic Mavigliano.
Congratulations to all our runners today and Coach Bethany Romine on a historic feat!
